Sterilisation of cats and dogs starts a chain reaction, and prevents many thousands of animals being left homeless, hungry and cold. It’s a massive step forward in changing the lives of animals all over South Africa, and ensuring their lives aren’t cut short, because there are too many of them, and too few homes.

During 2018, St Francis Animal Rescue (SFAR) raised and spent nearly R500 000, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the cats and dogs living in our local township, Sea Vista.

Total Annual Spend – R 450 410

Food Purchased – R 172 389
Vet Spend, including 191 spays, 65 neuters and 272 treatment – R 248 351

Outreach Meds, including Frontline, deworming and Nobivac R37 760.53

Bank Fees R2 288.19
Other, including kennels, leads, collars, printing and promotional material R27 381.60

We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all our supporters who gave so generously over the last year, and we look forward to doing even greater things in 2019.
